"Put this on," Wilma said. "I'm all done loading up.
Brice got in on the passenger side and enjoyed the cozy seat and warm heat. The mansion style house centered on Oak Park Boulevard. Wilma drove into the driveway and parked her minivan in the back.
Brice rolled the kitchen island with warming plates stacked on top inside the house. Wilma followed in behind him with a tray of tomatoes and lettuce heads. After bringing in the equipment, he searched the kitchen drawers that had silverware, keys and restaurant menus.
"Did you find information to help?" Wilma asked.
"Cut the lettuce up and diced the tomatoes," Wilma said. "Were serving a garden salad to begin with."
"Got to learn the layout of the house before the guest arrive. Where's the bathroom?"
"There's one upstairs and one through the kitchen's door at the right." Wilma paused. "Don't go to the one upstairs. First floor investigation only."
Pushing the door open, Brice crept into the hallway. The bathroom was a few steps away but he continued to the end of the hallway where a swirling stairs ascended up two floors. He climbed to the top floor, deciding to work his way through a few of the rooms. He clicked the door to the first room where it was decorated pink like a sweet sixteen room.
Brice prowled the room, rummaging through drawers where he discovered a picture of Lillian holding on a buck-naked man. The bottom corner of the photo had Love Isaac.
