"Me first," Darryl said.
"I'm not doing your stinky butt," said Wilma staring at the floor.
"You do all three," Jason said. "Why you keep asking the same dumbass question. I'm first."
Wilma pulled the covers from the bed. Yanking her blouse off, Brice formed a fist and stepped to go around the door. Wilma caught glimpse of him. She shook her head to stop him.
"Don't pout and cry like we hurting you," said Jason. "We're the best."
"Huh," Darryl said to the squeak of the door noise. Brice stopped and moved back out of sight.
"Don't get in the bed, go take a shower first," Jason said. "Roger and Darryl go get some drinks and mingle with Carly until I come down."
"I'm taking some of these cold cuts," Darryl said, picking up four slices of the ham and Swiss cheese.
Wilma started the shower. She pushed the door further open, tightening Brice behind it. He moved into her view. Turning to face her, he extended his hand.
"Jason's going down," Brice mouthed. "I will rescue you out of this mess." He dropped his hand when she put her head down. He lifted her face. "This will change."
"I believe you," Wilma said.
Brice stepped back as Wilma entered the shower. Jason joined her. He eased around the door and scurried toward the elevator. He had to tell Shawn Arcadio is alive before going to the police on Jason. Arcadio might have filed charges.
