She had helped her along to death since she resembled a living dead figure."I'm sorry, I didn't think you would keep going."
"You're young," said the woman pulling her walker from the back seat. "The spot will be yours next time."
"Why old people always say that. I don't have a next time." Ebony blew passed her making sure she didn't ask for assistance.
"I'm calling my insurance when I get home. I've got your license."
After she parked her car, Ebony picked up two Faygo pops and rib meals with a side of coleslaw from the delicatessen section of the store. Customers stocked up on food in the area and shut themselves up in their homes. Hefty wasn't arrested. Then she headed down the alley in the back of the buildings. After finding a space for her car, she unfolded the chairs and card table Isaac left for business meetings. Placing the food on the table, she approached the door and rung the bell. A 20 year old girl with a cutting cape cracked the door.
