"Where are the guns," Lt. Vinsetta asked the kid. He ushered Floyd and Trevone into the car, driving pass Winthrop Street and Brooks Middle School.
"Stop, that was our school," Trevone said tapping Lt. Vinsetta's shoulder. Turning down Faust Avenue, he rode near the driveway of the Tattle Tale's house. "Are the guns in there?"
"If he tells the truth how would you protect him from Zetta," Trevone said. "She has special connections."
Lt. Vinsetta headed back to Brooks, he planned to obtain a search warrant for Tattle Tale's house. A ground keeper mowed the grass of the church. Stopping in front of the school, he let them out. The yellow tape CRIME SCENE DO NOT CROSS had been scattered across the lawn.
"PP and his crew are going to kill Brice in his classroom," Floyd blurted out then he bolted for the door of the school cutting through the line of students.
"At least he told you," Trevone said. "He's understanding he has to do his part to save lives."
"I'm glad a young man realize what will solve the problem." Lt. Vinsetta sped off in the direction of Cody. Slowing to go over the train tracks, he turned left on to the street right after it, parking in the student's lot. He checked on the Tattle Tale's house, he noticed members had returned leaving Trans Am in the driveway and the windows shut up.
They might all ready be in the school, Vinsetta's thought running up the sidewalk to the gang house. He banged twice. No answer. He charged toward Cody's front entrance. After getting access inside the school he head for the office, storming through the door, ignoring a group of students with instruments, "Where is the principal?"
